HPBOSE SOS Result 2025: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the State Open School Examination 2025 results. These results are for the Class 8th, 10th, and 12th examinations held in September 2025. Candidates who appeared for these exams can now check and download their scorecards online. To view the HPBOSE SOS results, candidates should visit the board’s official website at hpbose.org. Candidates will need to log in using their roll number to view their results. The board has released separate result links for Classes 8, 10, and 12.

How to download the marksheet?

First, go to the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org
Click on the ‘Results’ section at the top of the homepage. Click on the link for “SOS Middle/Matric/Plus Two Result.”
Fill in your Roll Number and other required information.
Clicking on the ‘Search’ button will display your marksheet on the screen.
Download and print your marksheet for future reference.

Class 8th

Total Candidates: 265
Passed: 174
Re-appear: 64
Pass Percentage: 65.66%

Class 10th

Total Candidates: 9428
Passed: 5985
Re-appear: 3018
Pass Percentage: 63.48%

Class 12th

Total Candidates: 9481
Passed: 6139
Re-appear: 2934
Pass Percentage: 64.75%

Re-evaluation Facility
If a student is not satisfied with their marks, the board also offers the option of Rechecking or Re-evaluation. To do so, you will need to apply online within the time limit prescribed by the board and pay the stipulated fee.

Application Process for Re-checking
The board has also issued guidelines for students dissatisfied with their marks. Students can register for re-evaluation or re-checking till January 7, 2026. To do so, students must register online through their respective SOS study centres. A fee of Rs. 1000 has been fixed for re-evaluation for each subject. For rechecking, students will need to pay a cost of Rs. 800 per subject.
