Motorola Edge 50 Fusion VS Nothing Phone 2a

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion VS Nothing Phone 2a Detailed Specifications

Design: Nothing Phone 2a has the classic transparent back design we first saw in the Phone (1). Not as lights-heavy as Phone (1), the transparent rear panel and three-light arrangement near the dual rear camera setup will surely turn heads. The device has symmetrical bezels and a punch-hole selfie snapper in the top center. It’s available in three shades: White, Black, and Blue.

Display: Nothing Phone 2a and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display. However, the Edge 50 Fusion offers a 144Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits peak brightness compared to the Phone 2a’s 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. the difference between 144Hz and 120Hz refresh rate and the peak brightness of both phones will be much more noticeable, especially when using them outdoors. The Phone (2a), however, has Gorilla Glass 5 protection, making the screen stronger than the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

Performance: Both phones pack powerful SoCs, so you shouldn’t face performance issues regardless of the type of task they may require. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC in the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will perform similarly to the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro in the Nothing Phone (2a).

Cameras: The Nothing Phone (2a) (review) has a better selfie camera and ultra-wide lens than the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. The Edge 50 Fusion and the Phone (2a) video capture capability maxes out at 4K resolution at 30fps. While the Phone (2a) has a better camera layout on paper, you shouldn’t be disappointed with the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion’s camera either.

Battery: Both phones draw power from a 5,000mAh battery but the Edge 50 Fusion supports 68W fast charging, while the Phone (2a) offers 45W fast charging. Motorola claims over 30 hours of battery life with the Edge 50 Fusion, and thanks to the in-box 68W charger, the device can get 50 percent battery life with just a 15-minute charge.
