If it is formed now, it will be implemented exactly after two years.

Bumper salary will increase in the 8th Pay Commission

After the formation of the new government, there are speculations that a major decision will be taken on the 8th Pay Commission, because many employee organizations are demanding it. Earlier in the year 2014, the 7th Pay Commission was constituted. Every ten years a new pay commission is formed, which comes into effect exactly after two years.

If the 8th Pay Commission is formed, then the decision to implement it in the year 2026 is considered final. This will lead to a bumper increase in salary, which is very important to know. According to information received from government sources, salary is expected to increase more in the 8th Pay Commission as compared to the 7th Pay Commission. If this happens, then the basic salary of the employees will also increase by several percent, which will be like a big gift.

Know when and how much the salary increased

When the Fourth Pay Commission came into effect, the salaries of employees increased by 27.6 percent. After this, in the Fifth Selection Commission, the government gave a big gift to the employees by increasing their salaries by 31 percent. Fitment factor was implemented in the Sixth Pay Commission, at that time it was kept at 1.86 times.

This resulted in a bumper increase in the salaries of the employees. Due to this the basic salary also increased to Rs 7 thousand. The Seventh Pay Commission was implemented in 2016. In this too, the fitment factor was increased by 2.57 times. Meanwhile, if the 8th Pay Commission is constituted considering the old pay scale as the basis, then increase in the fitment factor is possible. With this, the minimum salary of employees can be Rs 26,000.
