New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the ODI and T20 squads for the Australia tour. Rohit Sharma has suffered a major setback ahead of the tour. Shubman Gill has been removed from the captaincy, and the team has been given command. The BCCI has taken a major decision by suddenly removing him from the captaincy.

Virat Kohli’s name has also been included in the playing eleven. Shreyas Iyer has been chosen as vice-captain. There have been long-standing rumours about Rohit Sharma, who retired from Test cricket after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and there was constant talk that he might be removed from the team’s captaincy.
