Petrol Price: The international market is witnessing an increase in crude oil prices, with Brent crude now priced at $76.78 per barrel. However, it is noteworthy that this rise has not impacted the domestic prices of petrol and diesel. As of today, January 25, 2025, national oil companies, including Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum, have maintained the current fuel rates without any alterations.

It is important to highlight that government oil companies have kept petrol and diesel prices unchanged for over three years. Nevertheless, on March 14, 2024, the central government did implement a reduction in tax, resulting in a price decrease of Rs 2 per liter for both fuels.
