Many women in Maharashtra are beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Yojana, so they are given Rs 500 per month instead of Rs 1500 under the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme. If 6,000 from the central government and Rs 6,000 from the state government are added, then they are provided with a total amount of Rs 12,000 annually.

Regarding the number of beneficiary women falling into this category, it is 7,74,148. Through the Ladli Laxmi Yojana (Ladli Laxmi Yojana), every eligible woman was promised an annual assistance of Rs 18,000. Currently, a significant number of women are taking advantage of this scheme. Only six days remain until the end of June.. Questions are being raised due to a lack of clarity regarding the twelfth instalment.

When was the scheme started?

CM Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched in July 2024. In the last assembly elections, a promise was made to provide a monthly allowance of Rs 2,100 to women. Currently, assistance of Rs 1,500 is being provided. Sisters are waiting for the instalment, but the government has not yet announced it.
