Apart from this, age certificate and income certificate are also required. Bank account details should be correct so that the installment can be transferred directly. Farmer certificate and passport size photo are also necessary. Mobile number should be linked so that the e-KYC process can be completed.
Importance of e-KYC process
Under the scheme, it is mandatory for all farmers to do e-KYC. For this, one has to go to the official website and click on the e-KYC option. Here the Aadhaar number has to be entered. Then OTP comes on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. After entering the OTP, e-KYC is completed. If this process remains incomplete, then there may be a problem in getting the installment. Therefore, it is important for farmers to do e-KYC on time.
