Do you have or are planning to make an Aadhaar card? Then today’s article is for you. The Government of India has various departments that handle different tasks, and one of them is the Unique Identification Authority of India, or UIDAI. UIDAI is responsible for issuing Aadhaar cards to Indian citizens. With an Aadhaar card, you can access a range of services, both government and private, like getting a SIM card, completing e-KYC, or receiving subsidies for various schemes.
If you’re interested, you can also download your e-Aadhaar card. If you’re unsure about the difference between an Aadhaar card and an e-Aadhaar card, you can find that information here, along with instructions on how to download your e-Aadhaar.
So, what exactly is e-Aadhaar? It’s basically a digital version of your Aadhaar card that you can store on your phone or computer. UIDAI fully recognizes it as valid, and you can use it for both government and private purposes.
