Allowance Hike- Good news for lakhs of working people in state. The Bhajan Lal government of the state has given a big gift to the policemen, jail personnel and home guard personnel by increasing their mess allowance. The state government has increased the mess allowance of these personnel by Rs 300 per month. The Home Department has issued a notification in this regard on May 13.
In fact, in April, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had announced to increase the allowances on the occasion of Rajasthan Police Foundation Day. The Chief Minister had announced to increase the uniform allowance from Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 from constable to assistant sub-inspector and the mess allowance of officers up to the level of police inspector from Rs 2,400 to Rs 2,700, after which orders have now been issued by the Home Department in May. The new rates will be applicable from April 2025.
Know how much the uniform/mess allowance has increased
1. Constable, Head Constable, ASI, SI and Inspector level personnel in Rajasthan Police Department will get mess allowance of Rs 2700 instead of Rs 2400.
2.Warder, Senior Warder, Head Warder, Deputy Jailer, Jailer of Jail Department as well as Constable, Driver and Head Constable level employees of Home Guard Department will also get salary allowance of Rs. 2700.
3. Policemen from constable to ASI level will now get a uniform allowance of Rs 8000, which was earlier Rs 7000. This amount is given every year for uniform related requirements.
