Price
If seen, the ex-showroom price of Thruxton 400 is ₹ 2.74 lakh, while the price of Speed 400 is ₹ 2.46 lakh. That is, Thruxton is about ₹ 28,000 more expensive than Speed.
Talking about dimensions, the ground clearance of Thruxton is 158mm, while in Speed 400 it is 165mm. In terms of weight also, Thruxton is slightly heavier (183kg), while Speed 400 weighs 179kg. There is also a difference in steering angle and riding position, which we will understand further.
Features
You must have noticed that Thruxton 400 is made in a cafe racer style, which has half fairing, single seat, clip-on handlebar and bar-end mirrors. This bike is designed for a sporty look and aggressive riding position.
At the same time, Speed 400 is a classic naked style bike, with upright handlebar and relaxed riding position. Apart from this, the USD fork in Thruxton is black in color, while Speed 400 gets golden fork.
Comfort
The handlebars on the Thruxton 400 are 40mm narrower and 246mm lower than the Speed 400. Also, the footpegs are 86mm back and 27mm higher, making the riding position even more sporty. If you want a bike for long rides, the Speed 400 can be more comfortable.
Engine
Although both bikes have a 398cc TR Series single-cylinder engine, the Thruxton 400 gives 42hp power, while the Speed 400 runs on 40hp power. But the 0-100km/h time of the Thruxton is 1 second less than the Speed 400.

The reason for this is the smaller rear sprocket in the Thruxton, which increases the top speed. If you want a thrill and sporty ride, the Thruxton is a better option.
