Indian Railways has cancelled a few trains heading to Katra and Jammu. They’ve released information so passengers can plan their trips by looking at the train schedule and avoid any hassle. This affects several trains coming from different states.
Northern Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Himanshu Shekhar, mentioned that due to a technical issue at Bridge No. 17 between Kathua and Madhopur Punjab stations on the Jammu division, train services will be impacted. Which trains are impacted?
Train No. 19107, the Bhavnagar Terminus – Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Railway Station service, will be cancelled until May 31.
Train No. 19108, the Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Railway Station – Bhavnagar Terminus service, will be cancelled until June 1, 2026.
Train No. 19415, the Sabarmati-Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra service leaving from Sabarmati until May 31, 2026, will only run up to Amritsar. This means the service will be partially cancelled between Amritsar and Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra.
Train No. 19416, the Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra-Sabarmati service, will run from Amritsar instead of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra until June 2, 2026, meaning it will be partially cancelled between Jammu Tawi and Amritsar.
Train No. 19223, the Sabarmati-Jammu Tawi service, leaving from Sabarmati until May 30, 2026, will only go up to Firozpur Cantt. This means the train will be partially cancelled between Firozpur Cantt and Jammu Tawi.
Train No. 19224, the Jammu Tawi – Sabarmati service, will operate from Firozpur Cantt instead of Jammu Tawi until June 1, 2026. This means this service will be partially cancelled between Jammu Tawi and Firozpur Cantt.
