Train Cancelled- These trains are canceled till May-June, Check before travelling

Train Cancelled: Another major setback is waiting for railway passengers. Every day, millions of people take the train across the country, with many traveling between Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. So, when there’s even a slight change in train services, it can throw off the plans of thousands. Right now, due to ongoing engineering work in the Jammu Tawi division, train cancellations have been prolonged.

Work is being done to repair and strengthen Bridges No. 17, 163, 137, and 232. As a result, several trains that pass through Rudrapur and the Terai area will be impacted until June. Passengers might need to find alternative travel options. Be sure to check for updates before you head out.

Trains have been cancelled for this reason. The bridges in the Jammu Tawi division are not just getting routine fixes; they are undergoing significant structural upgrades. The Railways is prioritizing safety over service. Because of this, the cancellation period for many trains has been extended, directly affecting passengers in Rudrapur and the entire Terai region.

This is particularly challenging for those who travel long distances or on a daily basis. Many passengers are having to frequently adjust their travel plans. The Railways has put out an advisory suggesting that you check the live train status before you leave the station to avoid any hassle.
