The government is giving Rs 10,000 to women every month
Subhadra Yojana is a special government scheme for women in Odisha. Under this scheme, eligible women of the state receive financial assistance of Rs 10,000 directly into their bank accounts every year. Already on Thursday, January 22, 2026, this money has been deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries under the scheme. Earlier it was supposed to be done on January 18, but it was deposited on January 22.

What is Subhadra Yojana?
Subhadra Yojana is a women-centric fund scheme of the Government of Odisha. Its aim is to empower women financially and help them start small businesses, invest in education or manage household expenses. This scheme benefits every eligible woman. Rs 10,000 is disbursed in two installments annually. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme on September 17, 2024 and provides financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to eligible women for five years from 2024-25 to 2028-29.
Who can apply for Subhadra Scheme?
1) Only women of Odisha are eligible for this scheme.
2) Age should be between 18-60 years.
3) Beneficiary should be BPL or low income.
4) No benefit will be available if you are in a government job or similar benefit.
5) You must have a bank account linked to Aadhaar to receive the money.

- Visit the official website subhadra.gov.in.
- Click on ‘Apply Online’ or ‘Registration’.
- Fill in the personal details (Name, Aadhaar Number, Address Details).
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit the form and note down the application number.
- Later check the status from the Subhadra Yojana Status option.
