It is now essential to connect land jamabandi with Aadhaar and a mobile number in the state. Failure to do so may result in the jamabandi being locked from the zonal office in Bihar. How to check the status of Jamabandi and Aadhaar linking online:

1. Go to the Bihar Bhumi Portal at https://biharbhumi.bihar.gov.in/.

2. Click on ‘Check Aadhaar/Mobile Seeding Status’.

3. Enter your land details to check the linking status.

1. You will receive SMS notifications on your mobile if there are any changes to the Jamabandi after linking.

2. If a mutation application is submitted against your Jamabandi post-linking, you will be informed via SMS.
