How to check your name offline:
1. You have likely submitted your form to the BLO (Booth Level Officer) or they collected it from you. You can contact them again. Alternatively, you can ask them over the phone if your name is on the voter list. This is because the Election Commission provides them with the voter list. It is also reported that the list of names being removed has been given to the BLOs. Therefore, contacting them is a wise option.

2. If you don’t want to contact the BLOs, contact the local political party representatives (BLAs). It is understood that these political party workers will also have the lists. They can check the list and tell you if your name is included.
3. The Election Commission will provide booth-wise voter lists to all political parties. So, you can also seek help from political parties in this regard.

How to check online:
In this case, you can easily check from home whether your name is on the draft list.
To do this, check your name on the eci.gov.in website. You can also download the ECINET app. You can easily find your name online through this app as well.

However, simply having your name on this list doesn’t guarantee anything. If necessary, the Commission may call you for a hearing. You must attend this hearing. You will need to show all the documents you have. You will also have to answer any questions they ask. If the Commission is satisfied with everything, there will be no problem. Once you complete this process, your name will be on the final list, and you will be able to vote easily in 2026.
