Camp will be held from 1 July to 30 September 2025
According to RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra, it has been 10 years since the implementation of the PM Jan Dhan Yojana through the government. In this situation, the accounts are being reviewed on completion of 10 years of the Jan Dhan Yojana. Under this, KYC camps are being organized at the panchayat level, so that rural and remote people can easily get KYC done. Let us tell you that not only will KYC be done through these camps. But there will be opening of new accounts, insurance, pension, and complaint resolution. At the same time, the government’s aim with PM Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is to connect every citizen of the country with banking services. Under this, you can open a savings account without a minimum balance.
Benefits of this scheme
Let us tell you that through PM Jan Dhan Yojana, a RuPay debit card is available for free, along with an accident insurance cover of up to Rs 2 lakh is available. After this, it will be easy to get a direct transfer of money, pension, and subsidy. With this, an account can be opened through Bank Mitra without going to the bank branch. Let us tell you that till now, more than 55.90 crore accounts have been opened across the country. This is one of the biggest financial inclusion programs in the country.

Benefit of Mudra Yojana along with Jan Dhan
Let us tell you that under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), loans worth more than Rs 35 lakh crore have been given to more than 53 crore people so far. And these loans help in self-employment, small business, and increasing income. In this, a loan of up to Rs 20 lakh is available without a guarantee. Apart from this, RBI also said that if an account holder dies, then the claim of the bank locker or deposit amount can now be made through an easy process, so that the family members do not have any problem.
What should Jan Dhan account holders do?
If you have a Jan Dhan account, then you must get Re-KYC done by going to the camp organized at the nearest panchayat level between July 1 and September 30, 2025. Otherwise, you may suffer a lot. If there is no camp in your village, then contact your bank. And as proof, carry along an ID and address proof like an Aadhar card or a Voter ID.
