Ration Update– An important notice has been issued for ration card holders in Maholi tehsil. The sub-district magistrate has directed all ration card holders to get e-KYC done by June 30. Food grains of beneficiaries who do not get e-KYC done by this date will be stopped.

Out of 13,482 beneficiaries in urban areas, e-KYC of 11,812 has been completed. The remaining 1,670 beneficiaries are yet to complete this process. Out of a total of 3.33 lakh ration card holders in rural areas, KYC of 2.76 lakh has been completed. Here KYC of 56,153 beneficiaries is pending.

The main objective of this campaign is to identify and remove ineligible, displaced and deceased units. This will ensure proper distribution of ration to eligible beneficiaries. The responsibility of e-KYC has been given to the concerned ration dealer. Special benefits have been announced for Antyodaya card holders. There are 6,605 Antyodaya card holders in Maholi block, 4,905 in Pisawan block and 2,152 in Elia block. All of them will be provided 3 kg sugar per card at the rate of Rs 18 per kg.

SDM has instructed Supply Inspector Kavita Verma to monitor the progress of e-KYC and get all the information updated on the fair price vendor wise portal.

Do e-KYC from home

To do e-KYC from home, you will first have to install the Mera KYC App and Aadhaar Face RD App apps. For this, you will have to follow the process given below.

1. First install Mera KYC and Aadhaar Face RD app.

2. After that open the app and select state and location.

3. Then enter your Aadhaar number and enter the OTP received on the mobile linked to Aadhaar.

4. After this your details will appear on the screen.

5. After this, choose the option of Face eKYC to scan the face and scan it with the mobile selfie camera.

6. By doing this the e-KYC process will be completed.

Let us tell you that even before this, deadlines were given several times for getting eKYC done. However, after that the government extended the deadline several times, but now the Modi government has fixed June 30 as the last date. That is, if you do not do this work by June 30, then you may stop getting free ration.
