Reason for the Engineering Block

According to the Railways, this work is being carried out to technically strengthen the structure of aging bridges within the Jammu Tawi Division. Structural strengthening will not only increase train speeds in the future but will also ensure safer and more reliable travel.

Indian Railways

Engineering teams are working with state-of-the-art machinery to strengthen the girders and tracks of these bridges. However, this is causing inconvenience to daily and long-distance travelers traveling to tourist and business centers like Rudrapur, Haldwani, and Kathgodam.

Important Instructions for Passengers

If you have already booked tickets on these trains, you will receive a full refund as per railway rules. Passengers are advised to check the live status of their train through NTES (National Train Enquiry System) or the 139 helpline number before leaving for the station. Since many alternative trains may be crowded, consider bus or other road transport options if possible.
