Another major news is here for PNB Account holders. Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued a reminder to its customers to refresh their KYC (Know Your Customer) information. The bank encourages account holders to complete this update by the specified deadline to avoid any interruptions in their banking services, as failure to do so may result in account closure.

PNB has set a deadline of March 31, 2025, for customers to update their KYC to ensure seamless banking operations. This directive follows guidelines from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which mandates that all customers complete their KYC. According to PNB’s notice, customers who have not updated their KYC by the deadline will have until April 10 to do so.

Why is KYC important?

KYC is essential for preventing fraud, money laundering, and unauthorized transactions. Banks routinely update customer information to maintain the security and transparency of financial dealings. If you are a PNB customer, it’s crucial to check if your KYC details need updating. You can also complete the KYC process online; here’s how.
