PM Yasasvi Scheme: How Students Can Get Rs 1.25 Lakh Scholarship in 2025? Know the guidelines

PM Yashasvi Scheme: The Indian Government is rolling out some fantastic initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable communities both socially and economically. Today, we’re diving into the Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme, also referred to as the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India.

This scheme offers scholarships to deserving students from underprivileged OBC, economically backward classes, and DNT communities. Thanks to this initiative, these bright students won’t have to worry about financial hurdles while pursuing their education.

The scholarship provides a generous amount of Rs 125,000. Students can utilize this funding to further their studies without any hindrances. It’s awarded to those attending top schools and achieving stellar results in their board exams. For ninth graders, the scholarship is Rs 75,000, while eleventh graders receive Rs 125,000. The funds are directly transferred to the student’s bank account through DBT. To be eligible, your annual income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh, and you must be in either ninth or twelfth grade.

To apply for this scheme, head over to the official NTA website. Once there, click on the Register option. Fill in your personal information, including your name, email, date of birth, and a password. After you’ve completed all the necessary fields, hit the Create Account button. This will finalize your application for the scheme, and you can then download the PDF file with your application number.
