PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – The central government may present its general budget on February 1, 2026, and discussions about it have already begun. Farmers and people from various other sections of society are eagerly awaiting the benefits the budget might bring. Farmers are hoping for an increase in their instalment amount.
Farmers expect that the government will double the instalment amount under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in this year’s budget, increasing it to Rs. 4,000. Farmer ororganisationsave been demanding this for a long time. If the government increases the instalment amount to Rs. 4,000, it will be a great relief for farmers. However, the government has not yet made any official announcement.

How much money will farmers receive annually?
If the central government increases the instalment amount from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 4,000, farmers will receive an annual benefit of Rs. 12,000. Each ininstalments disbursed every four months. Currently, farmers receive Rs. 6,000 in three instalments, also transferred every four months.
If the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana amount is doubled on February 1, 2026, then the increased amount may be received in the upcoming iinstalment The next ininstalments likely to arrive in the last week of February or the first week of March.
Farmers should do this
The next, i.e., the 22nd instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, may be released around Holi. To receive the insinstalmentarmers must complete some necessary tasks. Farmers should complete their e-KYC, land verification, and link their Aadhaar card to their bank account without delay.
Delaying these tasks will result in the instalment being withheld. The government released the 21st instainstalmentovember 19, 2025. The money was withheld for farmers who had not completed their e-KYC. The government released this amount to approximately 9 crore farmers.
