Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an extremely important scheme run by the government for crores of farmer families of the country. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 is sent directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers every year, so that they can get help in expenses related to farming. This scheme is a powerful economic support for the farmers.

So far 19 installments of this scheme have successfully reached the farmers and the beneficiaries are now eagerly waiting for the 20th installment. However, many times some farmers are not able to take advantage of this scheme continuously even if they want, because their installments stop due to some mistakes. If you want your 20th installment to come to your account without any interruption, then it is extremely important to avoid these four major mistakes. So, farmer brothers, be careful.

Your installment can be stopped due to these mistakes

The central government has made some rules mandatory to bring transparency to PM Kisan Yojana and to deliver benefits to the right beneficiaries. If these rules are not followed, your installment can be stopped. So let’s know about those four main mistakes which you should avoid at all costs. This is essential to ensure your rightful money.

E-KYC is mandatory

Getting e-KYC done under PM Kisan Yojana has now been made mandatory for all beneficiaries. If you have not completed your e-KYC yet, your next installments may be stopped. You can complete your e-KYC by visiting the PM Kisan portal or by biometric method at the nearest Common Service Center. This is a simple process that you should complete immediately.

Land records are not updated

The benefit of this scheme is available only to those farmers who have cultivable land in their name. The government has made verification of land records mandatory to ensure that the benefit goes only to genuine landholder farmers. If there is any error in your land records, or they have not been verified yet, then your installment may be stopped! Therefore, get your land records updated immediately.

Bank account and Aadhaar not linked

In PM Kisan Yojana, money is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary. For this, it is mandatory for your bank account to be linked to your Aadhaar number. Also, your name in the bank account and Aadhaar card should also be the same. Any difference can cause a delay or interruption in payment.

Be careful while filling in information

While applying or updating your profile, fill in information like bank account number, IFSC code, name, address, etc. correctly. Any small mistake can stop the payment. In such a situation, double-check all your information on the PM Kisan portal.
