Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari made this announcement while presenting the state budget. She stated that while the PM Kisan Yojana provides farmers Rs 6,000 annually from the central government, the Rajasthan government will now add Rs 3,000 more.
Rajasthan Farmers Will Get Rs 9,000 Annually
Currently, under PM Kisan Yojana, farmers receive Rs 6,000 per year. But now, farmers in Rajasthan will get an extra Rs 3,000, bringing the total amount to Rs 9,000 per year. This initiative, included in the Rajasthan Budget 2025-26, is expected to bring major improvements in the agriculture and irrigation sector of the state.

When Will the 19th Installment of PM Kisan Be Released?
The 19th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released in February 2024. The central government will transfer Rs 2,000 to farmers’ bank accounts on 24 February 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send this amount through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
What Is PM Kisan Yojana?
The PM Kisan Yojana was launched in 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide income support to farmers with cultivable land. Under this scheme, farmers get Rs 6,000 per year in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 each, which is directly credited to their bank accounts.

Who Will Not Get the 19th Installment?
Some farmers might not receive the next instalment due to new government rules.
- eKYC is mandatory: Farmers who haven’t completed their eKYC will not receive the next payment. This rule was introduced to prevent fraud.
- Land verification is required: Farmers who haven’t completed their land verification may also face issues in receiving their instalments.
Who Is Not Eligible for PM Kisan Yojana?
The following categories of people cannot receive benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana:
- Institutional landholders
Government officials and politicians, including: - Former and current MPs, MLAs, Ministers, and Mayors
- Serving or retired government employees (except Group D/Multi-Tasking Staff)
- Retired pensioners getting Rs 10,000 or more per month
- Income Taxpayers
- Professionals, including doctors, engineers, lawyers, and chartered accountants
