Direct assistance of ₹6,000 every year
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana), the central government provides direct financial assistance of ₹6,000 to farmers every year. This amount is released in three installments. An amount of ₹2,000 is transferred directly to their bank accounts every four months.
