PM Kisan 20th installment: Crores of hardworking farmers of the country are waiting for a big good news at this time. That is the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. What is PM Kisan Yojana?
This scheme was started in 2019, which aims to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers of the country. The government transfers an amount of Rs 6,000 annually directly to the bank account of the farmers, which is given three times a year in installments of Rs 2,000. Under this scheme, farmers are required to provide the correct record of their land, that is, verification of land records is mandatory. Without correct land records, farmers cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.

If it is difficult to use the internet, then they can go to their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and get biometric e-KYC done. The government had also run a saturation drive across the country by May 2025 so that every eligible farmer can complete this process in time.
The purpose of this campaign is that no farmer should be deprived of the scheme and every eligible farmer can get help on time. Which farmers are eligible for this scheme?
The benefit of this scheme is available only to those farmers who are Indian citizens and have agricultural land in their name. Also, they should be small or marginal farmers, who are entitled to financial help under this scheme. If a farmer is getting a pension of more than Rs 10,000 or they fall in the category of taxpayers, then they cannot take advantage of this scheme. These rules have been made so that only really needy and eligible farmers can get this help.
Method of checking your status and new registration
If farmer brothers want to check the status in their scheme or want to see their name in the list of their names, then this process is easy for them. One has to go to the website pmkisan.gov.in and click on “Know Your Status”, there they can check their status by entering their registration details. On the other hand, if they want to see their name in the list of names, then they can see the report by going to the “Beneficiary List” section and selecting the state, district and block.
If a farmer is not yet registered in the scheme and wants to avail the benefits, then he has to go to the website and apply from the “New Farmer Registration” option. While applying, it is necessary to read all the instructions carefully and fill them so that the application can be accepted correctly.
