Passport Update: Whether it’s traveling abroad, studying at a foreign university, or settling in another country, a passport is required for all of these purposes. It’s a government document that proves your identity and citizenship. A visa, on the other hand, is a letter issued by a country’s government, granting you permission to enter, live, or work in that country.
Whether you’ve moved cities or simply moved residences within the same area, you should update your passport address. Failing to update your passport address after moving could lead to problems with police verification or visa applications. You’ll also face difficulties with embassy or consulate verification during international travel. This process can be done both online and offline. You’ll simply need to visit a Passport Seva Kendra for document verification.
