Minor PAN Card- Like Aadhar card, PAN card has also become an important document today. Without PAN card, you cannot complete any important work. PAN card is always required for work related to income or money. Just like an Aadhaar card is made for a minor child, you can also make a PAN card. You do not even need to go to any office for this. When the child becomes an adult or 18 years old, a new PAN card can be applied for. The photo and signature in the new PAN card are new. However, the PAN number remains the same.
These documents will be required
Before applying online, keep all the necessary documents with you. These include identity card, voter ID, Aadhaar card, passport. Apart from this, you may also have to provide the child’s birth certificate.
How to apply?
To make a PAN card, first of all you have to go to the NSDL website.
After this, you should go to New PAN and select Indian Citizen and Individual section.
Then enter the child’s basic information and your information.
After this, scan the required document and submit it online.
Then you have to pay the required fee and submit the form.
After verification, you will get a PAN card. You can get this PAN card in both physical and online form. You can use it while investing in various schemes related to children. If there is a lack of electricity or internet in your area, then you can also get a PAN card by going to a nearby government office.
