How Many Times Can You Redeem Rewards?

According to the new HDFC Bank rules, Infinia cardholders will now be able to redeem reward points a maximum of 5 times per month. Initially, there was talk of reducing it to 3 times, but the bank later revised it to a limit of 5 times. This will provide some relief to cardholders who make large purchases every month.

How to Earn Reward Points on the Infinia Card

This card offers 5 reward points for every Rs. 150 spent. If you shop or book through HDFC’s SmartBuy platform, you can earn up to 10 times the reward points. This is why this card is quite popular among travelers and those who make premium purchases.

What are the Reward Redemption Limits?

A maximum value of Rs. 2 lakh can be redeemed using reward points in a single statement cycle. For flight tickets, hotel bookings, and air miles, this limit is set at Rs. 1.5 lakh per month. In the case of Apple products and Tanishq vouchers, only 70 percent of the total bill can be paid using reward points; the remaining amount must be paid with the card. Additionally, a maximum of 50,000 reward points can be used against the statement balance each month.

What is the value of reward points?

If you purchase Apple products or Tanishq vouchers through SmartBuy, one reward point is worth up to ₹1. You also get a value of ₹1 per point on flight and hotel bookings. When converting to air miles, you can get up to 1 air mile per point. For other products or vouchers, the value is approximately 50 paise per point, while redemption against the statement balance reduces the value to about 30 paise per point.

An important point to keep in mind

If your Infinia credit card is not used for 365 consecutive days, all accumulated reward points will automatically expire. Therefore, it is important to use the card periodically so that your hard-earned points do not go to waste.

Who gets the Infinia Metal Card?
