There will be losses if the pipe is not replaced

If you refuse to replace the gas pipe when the delivery man of the gas agency arrives, then you will not be able to get any facility provided by the company. Not only this, but accident insurance will also be cancelled. The delivery man of the agency is advising the customers to change the pipe after reaching their homes, which you should take seriously. If you are negligent, then the loss will be yours only. Insurance up to Rs 10 lakh is provided by gas companies.

The work of changing the pipes of the cylinders of 1.98 lakh gas cylinder customers of 24 gas agencies of Shamli is going to start. Indian Oil Corporation has informed the gas agencies to change the pipes of gas cylinders every five years.

This is being done keeping in mind the safety of consumers. Indian Oil Company believes that the life of the pipe fitted on the gas cylinder is up to 5 years. Meaning that after this time, the pipe gets completely damaged, due to which there is a possibility of gas leakage.

The company will not consider the pipe of the market as a beneficiary.

According to the head of the Gas Cylinder Association, Ratan Singh Nirwal, some customers buy pipes from the market and install them, but due to being cheap, they are not considered ISI marked. If, for some reason, the consumers buy pipes from the market and install them, then they will not be considered beneficiaries of the scheme. Now the gas companies have started the work of making a list of the dates of gas connections issued from here.
