Ladli Behna Yojana: A very good news has come for women across the country. The government is going to give them a special gift of ₹ 250 on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan. The Chief Minister of the Madhya Pradesh Government, Mohan Yadav, has announced to give this additional amount to the beneficiary women of Ladli Behna Yojana. This amount will be in addition to the monthly ₹ 1,250 they receive, that is, in total they will now get ₹ 1,500.
Unique Rakhi gift to Ladli Behna Yojna
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made this heart-touching announcement during a program in Belkheda village of Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. This village is located about 40 kilometers from the district headquarters. The Chief Minister said that under the Ladli Behna Yojana, women get assistance of ₹ 1,250 every month. Now on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, next month they will be given an additional amount of ₹ 250 as a gift.
At the event, the Chief Minister transferred the amount of ₹ 1,551.44 crore for June directly to the bank accounts of 1.27 crore beneficiary women. According to officials, this is the 25th time the amount has been transferred since the scheme was launched, which shows the continuity of the scheme and the commitment of the government. This financial assistance helps empower women economically and meet their daily needs.
Other major announcements of the Chief Minister
Apart from this additional gift of Ladli Behna Yojana, the Chief Minister also made several other important announcements for Belkheda village and surrounding areas. A government college will be opened in Belkheda, which will give local students an opportunity to get higher education and they will not have to go far.
A new office complex and residential quarters will be constructed for the employees of the Revenue Department, which will facilitate departmental work and provide better facilities to the employees. Along with this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development works in the district. He reiterated that the government is constantly working for women’s empowerment and rural development so that every section of the state can get benefits.
