Ladki Bahin Yojana: Many schemes are being run by the state governments and the central government to improve the economic condition of women. Similarly, the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is also being run in Maharashtra. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1,500 is provided every month to the eligible women beneficiaries. A big update has come out about this scheme. State Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare has said that the installment for the month of August has started being sent from 11 September 2025.

Let us tell you that women have received benefits in 13 installments so far. This is the 14th installment of the month of August. Aditi Tatkare said, “This empowerment revolution, driven by the unwavering faith of the mothers and sisters of Maharashtra, is moving forward successfully. Soon, Samman Nidhi will be released in the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of all eligible beneficiaries of this scheme.” Under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana, women will be given Rs 1500 as Samman Nidhi. Many beneficiary women have reported that the money has arrived in their accounts.

According to the report, a list of officers and employees who took advantage of the “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen” scheme has come to light. There are a total of 1183 names in this list. All these employees work in the Zilla Parishad. It is mentioned in this letter that these employees have deliberately taken advantage of the scheme, while they are not eligible as per the conditions of ineligibility.

Taking cognizance of this serious matter, the Women and Child Development Department has written a letter to the concerned Zilla Parishads and informed that such employees have misled the government. Therefore, immediate disciplinary action should be taken against the concerned officers and employees as per the Maharashtra Civil Services Rules.
