Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, it has been decided to run four Vande Bharat trains between Vaishno Devi and Srinagar. This is considered a significant step for the Railways, about which people are very excited.
Now, devotees coming to Katra to visit Vaishno Devi will be able to reach Jammu and Kashmir by Vande Bharat train easily. There will be no problem with this. The start of these trains has been made possible by the construction of tunnels and bridges on the Banihal and Baramulla railway route, which connects the Kashmir Valley to the rest of India.

Four Vande Bharat trains will be run between Katra and Srinagar. In this work, it is necessary to run on various routes between Jammu, Banihal, and Baramulla. This will benefit both local passengers and pilgrims. The most important thing is that the Jammu-Tawi and Srinagar Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week.
This train departs from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 8:10 am daily. It arrives at Banihal at 9:58. It reaches Nagar station at 11:10. In this way, the second train, going from Katra to Srinagar via Banihal, will leave Katra at 2:55 pm and arrive in Srinagar at 6 pm.
Along with this, the Srinagar to Jammu Tawi Vande Bharat Express will depart from Srinagar station at 8:00 am, 6 days a week, except on Wednesdays, and is expected to reach Banihal at 9:20 pm. This train will arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11:05. The second train will depart from Srinagar station at 2 pm every day, except Tuesday, and will arrive at Banihal at 3:10 pm and Katra by 5:30 pm.
How much fare will have to be paid?
For your information, please note that the Vande Bharat train, which will run from Katra to Srinagar starting from June 7, will only speed up during the day. Srinagar will be the last station. The fare of the chair car in the Vande Bharat train running from Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar in the morning will be Rs 715.
