Northern Railway said that Delhi PRS services will be temporarily suspended at midnight on March 14/15, 2026. You may experience difficulties using some key features on both days. To further improve the efficiency and performance of the PRS, the system will be unavailable for approximately three hours. During this time, 139 PNR enquiry services, EDR, and Delhi PRS services will be unavailable. PRS services allow passengers to book tickets from anywhere. This service eliminates the need to wait in long queues, saving them a lot of time.
This facility allows passengers to book reserved and unreserved train tickets. This simplifies the entire ticket booking process and helps passengers plan ahead.
What is PRS?
The objective is to improve railway reservation services, ensuring faster processing and greater reliability. PRS is a centralised computerised system that handles ticket booking, cancellation, Tatkal booking, checking waitlist status, and preparing passenger charts.
