Indian Railways Rule: Indian Railways runs thousands of trains all over the country. To make things easier for passengers, they’ve set up a bunch of rules that get updated from time to time. There’s some important news for those traveling on Indian trains. They’ve rolled out new guidelines for how reservation charts are made.

The Railways has sent out instructions to all zonal officers about this. With this new rule, passengers will be able to check their seat status before they leave, allowing them to plan their trips better. If you’re taking a train in India, it’s crucial to be aware of this new railway rule. As per media reports, the charts for trains leaving between 5:01 am and 2:00 pm will be created at 8:00 pm the night before. So, if your train is set to leave at 6:00 am, 10:00 am, or 1:00 am, you’ll find out your seat status the evening before.

For trains that run between 2:01 pm and 11:59 pm, the charts will be prepared 10 hours ahead of their departure. Additionally, for trains that operate between midnight and 5 am, the charts will also be made 10 hours before they leave. This new railway rule is a big win for passengers with waiting tickets, as they’ll know their seat status well in advance.

If their ticket isn’t confirmed, they’ll have the chance to look for other travel options. The Railways has confirmed that this decision will be in effect for all trains across the country. They also mentioned that the new system will be more user-friendly and transparent.
