Jalore-Delhi Direct Train Service: Keeping passenger convenience and growing demand in mind, Indian Railways is introducing a new train service for the Jalore district of Rajasthan. This comes as great news for passengers travelling from Delhi to Rajasthan; for the first time, Jalore is set to receive a direct rail connection to Delhi. On May 22, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is scheduled to flag off the inaugural Bhuj-Delhi Special Train.

This new overnight train will reach Delhi via Jalore, Pali Marwar, and Marwar Junction. The train will pass through Bhildi, Jalore, Pali Marwar, and Marwar Junction on its way to Delhi. Local residents had been demanding this rail service for a considerable period.

Approval Granted on April 8
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw approved this rail service on April 8, and he is now set to flag off the train on May 22. This will be an exclusively overnight service, allowing passengers to travel during the night and reach their destinations comfortably by morning. This will also result in significant time savings for travellers.

Train to Halt at These Major Stations

The Bhuj-Delhi rail service will pass through numerous stations. These include Anjar, Gandhidham, Bhachau, Bhildi, Dhanera, Ranawara, Marwar, Bhinmal, Modran, Jalore, Mokalsar, Samdari, Luni, Pali, Marwar Junction, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar, Bandikui, Alwar, and Rewari. The launch of this train will make travel between Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi significantly easier than before.

Meanwhile, Indian Railways has also extended the service of the Superfast Special Train operating between Mumbai Central and Kathgodam. With this train’s continued operation, passengers travelling to Uttarakhand can look forward to an even more convenient travel experience.

Dates Extended for the Special Train
The Railways has extended the direct train service connecting Mumbai and Uttarakhand. This is intended to make it easier for Mumbai residents to reach destinations such as Dehradun, Rishikesh, and Ramnagar. In view of the summer rush, Western Railway has extended the services of a key Superfast train running from Bandra Terminus to Uttarakhand.

Train Route
Originating from Mumbai Central, this train passes through several important stations, including Surat, Vadodara Junction, Ratlam Junction, Kota Junction, and Mathura Junction. Subsequently, the train travels through other stations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand—such as Haldwani and Lal Kuan Junction—before finally reaching Kathgodam.
