Talking about the GST slab change and rate, it was announced by the Finance Minister on September 3. This change has been made keeping in mind the common man of the country, farmers, and small businessmen. After this, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also said that many types of electronic items like TV, fridge, AC, power break, charger, mobile, etc. are used in the middle class. Tax has been reduced on all these things. Whose prices will be reduced, not only this, but all the essential items used in the house, roti, clothes, etc., have become cheaper.

The date of change in the GST slab has been fixed as 22 September. After this, the prices of everything from oil, shampoo, and soap to clothes, shoes, namkeen biscuits, etc. will fall.

This much GST will be levied on household items

Let us tell you that the government has removed the 18 percent GST on oil shampoo and made it 5 percent. Apart from this, the 12 percent GST on biscuits, namkeen, etc., has been reduced to 5 percent. After this, the prices will fall considerably. Milk and cheese have been made tax-free. Earlier, one had to pay higher prices. Now, a fixed amount will have to be paid.

Ghee and butter used to attract 12% GST, but it has been reduced to 5%. GST on food items like pizza, bread, etc. has been reduced to 5%. After which, these prices will be cheaper. Apart from this, the 18% GST on chocolates and sweets, etc., has been reduced to 5%. GST on clothes has been kept in the 5% slab.
