Steps to update Aadhaar address online
First of all, go to the UIDAI website https://uidai.gov.in.
After this, click on Update Your Aadhaar in the My Aadhaar section.
Now choose the option of Update Aadhaar Online.
Enter your Aadhaar number and log in with the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Now select Address Update.
After this, fill in the new address carefully.
Now upload the new address proof.
After checking all the information, submit it.
Which documents are valid?
The most important documents for Aadhaar card are electricity/water/gas bill (maximum 3 months old, passport, ration card, bank passbook or statement, house rent agreement (which has the signature of the landlord), property tax receipt, driving license, voter ID card
How much time does it take to update the address?
After uploading the documents and submitting the request, UIDAI checks the information provided by you.
This process is usually completed in 7 to 10 working days.
After submission, you get a URN (Update Request Number), through which you can track the status.
Once updated, you can download your new e-Aadhaar.

Keep these things in mind
It is necessary to have a mobile number linked to Aadhaar so that OTP can be received.
Fill in the new address correctly and completely, as it cannot be changed later.
