However, from time to time, many such cases come up in which the cardholders of the scheme face problems in getting benefits.

Ayushman cards are made in the PM Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PMJAY), through which the beneficiary can get treatment in government and panel private hospitals. If the hospitals participating in the scheme refuse treatment despite having an Ayushman card, then you can take necessary steps. The government has provided ways to register a complaint in the scheme.

You can complain online under PMJAY, for which you have to go to https://cgrms.pmjay.gov.in/GRMS/loginnew.htm on your phone or PC. Here you will get Register Your Grievance, in which you enter the captcha code and choose the scheme and register the complaint by filling the required information. Keep in mind that you will get a Grievance ID, which the government officials can ask for later; you can check the status online from home.

For the beneficiaries, a toll-free number 14555 is also available at the national level. You can register a complaint by calling on this number. However, we are telling you the numbers of some states, for which 104 is for Bihar. Uttar Pradesh is 180018004444, and Madhya Pradesh is 18002332085.

Complain using Umang App

  • First of all, you have to download the UMANG App on your phone.
  • After which, open the app and select the Ayushman Bharat section.
  • Now you will see Grievance Redressal.
  • Tap here and register the complaint.
  • After writing the complete information, submit it, and you will get a Grievance ID.
  • You can check the status with the Grievance ID after a few days.

Keep these things with you.

If you go for treatment in a hospital listed in the scheme, then keep a photo of the Ayushman card or the card. If you have any problem, keep checking the status with the hospital slip or video or audio of the refusal (if possible), date and time of the complaint and the received Grievance ID. On registering a complaint in the scheme, the solution is done as soon as possible.
