Home, Car, Personal Loans EMI to Drop: Save Over ₹10,000 Annually, Know the Full Calculation

The Reserve Bank reduced the repo rate by 25 basis points on Friday, bringing it down from 6.50% to 6.25%. This cut will make loans cheaper and reduce EMI burdens for borrowers. The decision was taken after the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting, marking the first rate cut in about five years.

With lower interest rates, EMIs for personal, home, and vehicle loans will decrease, providing some relief from inflation. Additionally, people looking to take new loans will benefit from lower interest rates, which may lead to an increase in loan applications.
