Good news for state farmers. Now the government brings that one scheme that will give you strength and make you happy. Actually, the government of Bihar continues to launch different schemes to help the farmer. One such scheme is the Godam Nirman Yojana. Under this scheme, the Bihar government gives a good subsidy to the farmers to build warehouses.

The Bihar Godown Construction Scheme was started by the Bihar Agriculture Department. Under this scheme, farmers are helped to build warehouses. The government is encouraging warehouse construction so that their crops are safe. It is also being said that under this scheme, the state government will provide a grant of Rs 10 lakh. You can apply online for this scheme.

 

How much subsidy do you get?

 

Under the Bihar Godown Construction Scheme, the subsidy received by the farmers is determined by their class. According to the information received, a 40 percent subsidy is given to the general category farmers for the warehouse. On the other hand, if the farmer comes from a special category, a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, then in such a case he is given the benefit of a 50 percent subsidy.

 

At the same time, these subsidies are given on the basis of warehouse capacity and construction cost. Under this scheme, a maximum subsidy of Rs 10 lakh is available. If you are building a 100-metric-ton warehouse, then it may cost you Rs 14,20,000. In this, the government will give you a subsidy of Rs 5,50,000 at the rate of 40 percent. On the other hand, if you belong to the special category, then in such a case you can get subsidy up to 7 lakh per unit or up to 50 percent.

 

How to Apply

 

To apply for this scheme, first of all, you have to go to the official site of the Bihar Agriculture Department. After going here, you will have to enter the DBT registration number and Jamabandi number. Fill in all the details sought in the form carefully. Along with this, submit all the necessary documents, such as the Aadhaar card, caste certificate, and land ownership certificate. After submitting, you will be given a receipt for the application.
