Gold Price Today: Gold and silver prices in India are continuously rising. There is a tremendous jump in the rate of both metals. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,09,707 per 10 grams last week, on Friday. At the same time, the price of silver was recorded at ₹1,28,008 per kilogram. Both gold and silver remained at historic levels in Delhi’s bullion market last Friday. Gold of 99.9% purity was sold for ₹1,13,800 per 10 grams, and silver for ₹1,32,000 per kilogram.

On the other hand, the price of gold on the MCX exchange is seen trading at Rs 1,09,297 per 10 grams with a decline of 0.07 per cent or Rs 73 in early trade. Investors are currently monitoring the US Fed meeting. It is expected that the US bank may decide to cut the interest rate by 0.25% in its upcoming meeting.

How much gold increased in a year

On December 31, 2024, the price of gold was ₹ 78,950 per 10 grams. In this sense, gold has become approximately 44% more expensive so far in 2025. At the same time, silver prices have also increased by about 47%.

Global price of gold

A mixed trend was observed in the global gold market on Monday morning. The price of gold on Comex was seen trading at $ 3,681.20 an ounce, down 0.14 per cent or $ 5.20. At the same time, Gold Spot was up 0.07 per cent or $ 2.53 at $ 3,645.67 an ounce.
