Gold Rate Down Today: Gold and silver prices declined slightly today, April 9. Fluctuations in gold and silver rates are observed daily; at times, gold rates rise, while at other times, a marginal dip is observed. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹1,000 today, reaching ₹149,536 per 10 grams. Previously, it stood at ₹1.51 lakh. Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen by ₹9,000, settling at ₹235,475. Prior to this, the price of silver was ₹244,041.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 995-purity gold is ₹148,937 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the rate for 916-purity gold is ₹136,975 per 10 grams. Additionally, the rate for 750-purity gold remains steady at ₹112,152 per 10 grams. Furthermore, the price of 585-purity gold is ₹87,479 per tola.

Silver Rate (MCX)
On the previous trading day, the MCX silver price closed at ₹2,39,918 per kilogram; however, upon the market opening on Thursday, it dropped to ₹2,35,133.
