The Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana was launched by the Rajasthan government in 2016. Under this scheme, eligible girls in the state receive a total financial assistance of ₹50,000. This amount is not given as a lump sum, but in six installments at different educational and health milestones. This assistance provided by the government is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account, ensuring transparency.

The benefits of the Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana are available only to permanent residents of Rajasthan. To avail the benefits, it is necessary that the girl child was born after June 1, 2016, and her birth is registered at a government or recognized health institution. The benefits are provided only if the child studies regularly and fulfills all the necessary conditions.

For applying to this scheme, the girl child’s birth certificate, parents’ identity proof, Aadhaar or Bhamashah card, maternal and child health card, and documents related to school admission are required. Applications for the Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana can be submitted through the online portal. In addition, parents can also apply by visiting their nearest Women and Child Development office or the relevant department. Under the scheme, the first installment is given upon the birth of the girl child. The second installment is given when the child completes one year of age and receives vaccinations. The third installment is released at the time of school admission. The fourth installment is given after admission to the sixth grade. The fifth installment is provided upon admission to the tenth grade, and the final installment is given upon passing the twelfth grade. In this way, a total of ₹50,000 in assistance is provided.
