Weather Update: Temperatures fluctuate in South Bengal. Currently, there’s no rain expected anytime soon, and the skies are looking clear for the next few days. Temperatures might dip by about 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during the week but will rise again by the weekend. In Kolkata, we could see temperatures hitting around 33 degrees Celsius, with some districts possibly reaching 36 degrees Celsius.
Rain isn’t on the horizon either
As for North Bengal, it looks like rain isn’t on the horizon either, and temperatures will remain pretty stable over the next four to five days. There’s a cyclonic circulation near the Maldives, extending towards Lakshadweep, and another cyclone is hanging out in Assam.
In South Bengal, both day and night temperatures are pretty normal, with some light fog in the mornings along the coast. The weather is nice and clear for now, with no rain expected in the next few days. Mornings and evenings are pleasant, but daytime temperatures and humidity will rise, making it a bit uncomfortable at night.
For the next hour, temperatures won’t change much, but we might see a slight drop of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during the week. By the weekend, temperatures will climb again, with Kolkata possibly reaching 33 or 34 degrees Celsius and some districts hitting 36 or 37 degrees Celsius. So, folks in South Bengal should brace themselves for some serious heat this March.
North Bengal
Looks like there’s no rain in sight for North Bengal. The sky is clear, with just a bit of light fog in a couple of hilly spots. Expect the temperature to stay pretty steady over the next four to five days.
Kolkata
The night temps are a bit warmer than usual, while the daytime temps are right on track. The sky is clear, and there’s no rain expected. We might see some temperature changes in the coming days. It could dip a little during the week, but it’s likely to warm up again by the weekend.
