The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has made changes to make the claim process easier from April 1, 2025. EPF is a savings scheme for salaried employees. Money can be withdrawn partially or fully after retirement, or for reasons like medical needs.
Members can submit their PF claim offline or online. To make an offline claim, employees can use the composite claim form (Aadhaar or non-Aadhaar). The full PF amount can be withdrawn only in case of unemployment or retirement.
How to Claim Online
To claim online, first make sure your Universal Account Number (UAN) is active. Your mobile number linked to UAN must work. Your Aadhaar, bank account, IFSC code, and PAN should be in the EPFO system and linked to UAN.
To claim online, log in to the EPFO website with your UAN and password. Check if you can withdraw PF. Pick the right form: Form 31, 19, 10C, or 10D. Then, verify with the OTP sent to your mobile and submit the claim.
EPF members with 7+ years of service can withdraw advances for marriage (self, siblings, children) or children’s higher education, up to 3 times in service. Apply easily through the UMANG App with a simple step-by-step process.
