ELI Scheme– The central government has brought another great scheme for the youth. This scheme is also called ELI or Employee Linked Incentive Scheme. The government is going to spend Rs 99,446 crore on this scheme.
Who will get the benefit?
The government is going to start the ELI scheme especially for the youth. Under this scheme, a benefit of Rs 15,000 will be given to those youth who will join the job for the first time. Along with the youth, the company will also benefit from this. Under this scheme, the company which will provide jobs to the youth will also be given Rs 3000 every month.
When will you get the benefit after joining?
According to the information received in this regard, if a person starts a job on or after 1 August 2025, he will be given Rs 15000 by the government. This benefit will be available till 31 July 2027. This means that if a person joins a job between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2027, he will get this benefit.
How to apply?
One can apply for this scheme from the website of EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organisation).
The amount will be received in two installments
Under this scheme, the government will give Rs 15000 to all the beneficiaries in two installments. The first installment will be given 6 months after starting the job and the second installment will be given after 12 months. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the Prime Minister’s Employment and Skilling Package in the budget for the financial year 2024-25. The ELI scheme was also announced at the same time.
Another feature of the scheme
Another special thing about the scheme is that you don’t have to apply for it anywhere. As soon as you open your PF account, your data will go to the government and after PF money is deducted for 6 months continuously, the incentive amount will automatically come to your account.
