There’s good news for millions of farmers: the central government has released the installments ahead of schedule to farmers in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, considering the losses caused by heavy rains, floods, and landslides. Meanwhile, the Modi government on October 11th provided another major gift to farmers by launching agricultural projects worth over ₹42,000 crore. But the question remains: when will the ₹2,000 reach the accounts of farmers in other states, with only nine days left for Diwali?

PM Kisan 21st Installment

Millions of farmers are anxious about the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Looking at previous years’ payment schedules, this installment has been delayed. In 2023, this installment was released on November 15th, and in 2024, the 18th installment was released on October 5th. According to this pattern, the 21st installment should have arrived by now. However, so far, only farmers in four states—Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir—have received the funds. Farmers in the remaining states are still waiting.

While no official date has been announced by the government, several reliable media reports indicate that the ₹2,000 payment could be deposited into farmers’ accounts before Diwali, i.e., October 20, 2025. This payment will provide significant financial relief to farmers during the festive season.

Fulfilling certain conditions is essential to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana. Even a small mistake could deprive you of this installment. Farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC, whose Aadhaar card is not linked to their bank account, whose IFSC code is incorrect, or whose bank account has been closed may be deprived of this installment. Additionally, any errors in your personal details may also delay the fund transfer. Farmers who have completed their e-KYC, submitted the correct documents, and linked their Aadhaar to their bank account are most likely to receive this Diwali gift.

How to Check Your Name on the PM Kisan List

If you want to confirm whether your name is included in the PM-KISAN beneficiary list, follow these simple steps.

Visit the official PM Kisan website, pmkisan.gov.in.

Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section and click on ‘Beneficiary List’.

Select your state, district, block, and village.

Click on ‘Get Report’ and check your name on the list.

If your name is on the list and there are no errors, the money will be credited to your account. You can also check your beneficiary status:

Select the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option.

Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number.

Click ‘Get Data’ to check your status.

If your name is correct on the list and there are no errors in the status, the installment will be transferred to your account soon.
