PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has disbursed the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to the accounts of millions of farmers. On Monday, PM Modi transferred  Rs 22,000 crore to the accounts of 9.8 crore farmers from Bhagalpur, Bihar. However, there are numerous farmers who are still awaiting their payments, as Rs 2,000 from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has not been credited to their accounts. If you find yourself in this situation, there is no need for concern.

e-KYC and land records verification

Several factors could explain the delay in receiving funds from the PM Kisan Yojana. A significant reason may be that the e-KYC and land records verification were not completed accurately when filling out the application form. If e-KYC has been overlooked, the funds will not be transferred to your account.

Essential to complete e-KYC process

It is essential for every farmer to complete the e-KYC process to ensure that the money is deposited directly into their accounts, eliminating the need for intermediaries. The e-KYC for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi can be accomplished in three ways. First, you can complete the e-KYC process independently via the portal or mobile application using an OTP sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card.

You may visit a Common Service Center

Alternatively, you may visit a Common Service Center (CSC) to undergo biometric-based e-KYC. The third option involves Face Authentication, which allows you to complete the e-KYC by scanning your face with the camera on your mobile device or laptop. Additionally, you can obtain e-KYC services by visiting the nearest CSC center, where you will need to present your Aadhaar card and the mobile number associated with it.
