The Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana is a scheme under which women in Delhi will receive a monthly direct deposit of ₹2,500 into their bank accounts. Registration for the ‘Mahila Samriddhi Yojana’ is expected to commence in June. A dedicated registration portal has already been developed for this scheme. It is anticipated that this portal will become operational by the first week of June. So, let us explore which women are eligible for this scheme and how to register.
Which Women Are Eligible for Benefits?
To avail the benefits of the Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, a woman must have been a resident of Delhi for at least 5 years. Additionally, she must possess an Aadhaar card and a bank account linked to her Aadhaar number. One is eligible to apply for the Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana only if no member of the applicant’s family pays income tax. Furthermore, any woman aged between 21 and 59 who holds a BPL (Below Poverty Line) card is eligible to receive the benefits of the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana. The Delhi government has introduced this scheme specifically to support poor and economically disadvantaged women.

How to Register?
Registration for the Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana can be completed via the e-District portal.
First, before registering on the Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana portal, you must create an account.
Once the account has been created, you will need to visit the official website of the Delhi Mahila Samriddhi Yojana.

On this website, a short application form will appear; you must select the ‘Aadhaar Card’ option and enter your Aadhaar number. Next, enter the Captcha code and proceed. Following this, you will need to fill out another form, in which you must provide all the required information.
Once you have filled out everything, enter your mobile number and the OTP.
After receiving the OTP, log in again. Upon doing so, your registration will be complete.
