India Post has launched a new mobile app, Dak Seva 2.0. This app gives easy access to all post office services. India Post itself has shared information about the app. It also allows payments and other services.
India Post shared details on the X platform and explained the features. The post says, “Now you can carry the post office in your pocket.” They also shared images and described the features in detail. This single app lets you pay for money orders, track parcels, calculate courier value, and make PLI payments.
Complaint Option
The Dak Seva 2.0 app also has a complaint management feature. You can check the status of your complaint through the app. To use it, you need to create your own profile. If you have a post office savings account, you can also check its details in the app.
How to Use Dak Seva 2.0 App
The Dak Seva 2.0 app has been launched for Android and iOS. It has a simple and easy-to-use interface. You can calculate fees for speed post, track your parcels, and do other postal services from your mobile phone.
Available in 23 Indian Languages
You can use the app in your preferred language. The app supports 23 Indian languages, including Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, and more. There is a language icon at the top of the app. Click it to select your language and make it the default. The app also has a dark mode for easy use at night.
There is a search bar where you can type the service you need. This makes it fast and easy to find any postal service.
File Complaints Easily
If you have any complaint about a post office service, parcel, or transaction, you can report it through the app. You can also track the status of your complaint. You can call the toll-free number 18002666868 or chat with the online assistant in the app.
Department of Posts Goes Digital
The Department of Posts is modernizing its services. UPI and Dynamic Code services are now available at post office counters. The Dak Seva 2.0 app helps users do postal work from home. More than one lakh people have already downloaded it from the Google Play Store.
